Soudal Window System is a system of three-layer sealing of window and door joinery, proven by experts and valued by the construction industry, during its installation, which significantly improves the energy efficiency of the building.
The function of a thermal and acoustic insulator in the SWS sealed joinery installation system is performed by high-quality polyurethane foam, such as Flexifoam or Soudafoam Doors, which increases its volume during application and perfectly fills the gap around the window or door.
Since only a dry layer of polyurethane foam has excellent insulating parameters – it must be properly protected. A wide selection of SWS vapor barrier tapes allows to meet the most stringent requirements for energy efficiency of the building due to the possibility of simple verification of the performed sealing.
An alternative to tapes are Soudatight liquid membranes, especially recommended during the replacement of joinery in the thermal modernization process and in historic buildings. Soudatight LQ is a certified component of passive construction.
Regardless of the chosen method of conducting the 3-layer sealing of joinery, it is worth taking care of the thermal insulation installation of window sills using adhesive foams with the highest thermal and acoustic insulation parameters, such as Soudabond Easy. This fast-drying, high-performance building adhesive in foam is also designed for fixing G-K boards and polystyrene panels inside and outside rooms, e.g. in the thermal modernization process.
