Soudal Window System is a three-layer joinery sealing system valued by the industry, which improves the energy efficiency of buildings. It is based on a combination of mounting foams, tapes or membranes, and professional sealants, ensuring lasting insulation and full control over the airtightness of connections.
High-quality polyurethane foam, such as Flexifoam or Soudafoam Doors, is responsible for thermal and acoustic insulation. During application, it expands its volume and tightly fills the space around the window or door.
To ensure the foam retains its best parameters, it must be properly protected. This is enabled by a wide range of SWS vapor barrier tapes, which meet rigorous energy-saving requirements and allow for easy assessment of the sealing execution.
An alternative to tapes are Soudatight liquid membranes, particularly recommended for thermal retrofitting and joinery replacement in historical buildings. Soudatight LQ holds a passive house construction certificate.
A key role in the system is also played by sealants, used to protect and finish installation joints. Among them is the Silirub line of silicones, celebrating 50 years on the market—a series known for high elasticity, adhesion, and durability in demanding conditions.
The system is complemented by foam adhesives with high insulation parameters, such as Soudabond Easy, also used for fixing plasterboard (drywall) and polystyrene panels during modernization works.
