WARM EDGE SPACERS
TermoProfi warm edge spacer – energy and comfort start at the glass edge.
In modern windows, the glass constitutes the largest part of the structure, and its parameters influence the comfort and operating costs of the building. Even the best glazing unit can lose its properties in a place that is often forgotten – at the edge of the glass, where thermal bridges occur. This is exactly where the TermoProfi warm edge spacer works – a key element of insulating glass units (IGUs) that realistically increases the window’s insulation and improves the building’s energy balance. To ensure the entire system works reliably, TermoProfi also offers dedicated accessories for warm edge spacers, such as corner keys, muntin bar crosses, and assembly elements, which ensure precision, tightness, and repeatable quality in IGU production.
The TermoProfi warm edge spacer minimizes thermal bridges at the glass edges, stabilizes the indoor temperature, and reduces energy loss. In practice, this means lower heating bills and better comfort all year round.
Less condensation – a healthier home climate. The use of the TermoProfi spacer reduces the risk of water vapor condensation at the glass edges by up to 70%, thereby limiting the problem of dampness and the risk of mold formation. This solution is particularly important in energy-efficient, passive, and retrofitted homes.
The TermoProfi warm edge spacer is made of advanced FIBERTHERM composite, which combines high rigidity and stability with very good insulation parameters. Thanks to its thoughtful geometry, it works perfectly in the production of multi-chamber glazing. TermoProfi offers four lines of warm edge spacers:
- Standard ($\lambda$ = 0.73 W/mK)
- Standard 2.0 ($\lambda$ = 0.29 W/mK)
- Optimal ($\lambda$ = 0.135 W/mK)
- Extreme ($\lambda$ = 0.130 W/mK)
The TermoProfi warm edge spacer is a solution that raises the standard of joinery: energy efficiency, healthy indoor climate, and window durability – starting from the place that matters most.
